واعلموا أن الله غني حميد
‘Know that Allaah is Ghaneeun Hameed - Rich, Worthy of all praise’.
A servant
should give importance to knowing the Names and Attributes of Allaah. Allaah
ordered us to ‘know’ that Allaah is Ghanee, Hameed. This is due to the
importance of knowing His Names and Attributes. Knowing them increases you in
eemaan and strengthens you. You worship Allaah with His Names and Attributes
upon insight and knowledge.
Allaah is Rich and not in need of anyone. He is praised for
being Free of need. غني حميد
