Examples of Allaah's Names include:
ar Rahmaan الرحمن
al 'Aleem العليم

Allaah has two hands
There are deviant sects who deny Allaah's Names and Attributes such as the Jahmiyyah, the Mu'tazilah and the Ashaa'irah. Today some people still deny them because they are following the deviant views of these groups.
The People of Sunnah affirm and believe in all the Names and Attributes that are mentioned in the Qur'aan and Sunnah without
1. Tahreef تحريف (distorting them)
2. Ta'teel تعطيل (Denying them)
3. Takyeef تكييف (Asking how)
4. Tamtheel تمثيل (comparing them)
Deviation in Allaah's Names is called Ilhaad الإلحاد See aayah 180 Suratul 'Araaf
Imaam Maalik رحمه الله said:
الاستواء معلوم والكيف مجهول والإيمان به واجب والسؤال عنه بدعة
"Al-Istiwaa (Allaah’s Rising) is known, and how is unknown, to have eemaan in it is obligatory and to question it is an innovation ". Then he said to the questioner: "I do not think except that you are an evil man". So he ordered him to be expelled.
Some people give Allaah attributes which He has not mentioned to us such as people saying "Allaah is everywhere". This is kufr disbelief and not true. Allaah is above the seven heavens above the throne. This is what Ahlus Sunnah believe and have proofs of.
Examples of Allaah’s Attributes
There are many Attributes of Allaah.
Scholars have mentioned the ones most denied and distorted to clarify the truth
and the correct belief of Ahlus Sunnah. In his book Dr. Muhammad Amaan al
Jaamee listed 19 to highlight the false beliefs around them:
